Yep you got it right! here comes the official ICS 4.0.4 or codenamed Ice Cream Sandwich software update for Samsung Galaxy S II GT-I9100.

For those among of you who previously installed the leaked I9100XXLQ5 recently and having any issues occured like hard bricks and losing the serial numbers (mostly affected users from running custom ROM by using CWM and kernel), this could be the fix to solve your problem and revived your Galaxy S2.
For users currently runs with official Stock Firmware, this firmware is safer to install.

P.S.: CF-Root for XXLQ5 works fine to root XWLPO.

*** WARNING ***

I inspected the XWLPO kernel's bytecode and MMC_CAP_ERASE is still enabled! This means the kernel is again unsafe for the erase operation - brick possibility.
Do not use use CWM wipe with this.
(I am still unsure about which exact wipe conditions might trigger this - CWM? stock recovery? Secret *# code for factory reset? etc.)

Instructions For Flashing ICS:

• Extract the firmware
• Open the included Odin
• Put your device in Recovery MODE (Home + Volume up + Power)
• Wipe Data/Factory reset
• Wipe Cache
• Take Out Your battery & put it back in
• Put your device into Download MODE (Home + Volume Down + Power)
• Click PDA and select I9100_CODE_I9100XXLQ5_CL753921_REV02_user_low_ship .tar.md5
• Click PHONE and select MODEM_I9100XXLQ5_REV_02_CL1165929.tar.md5
• Click CSC and select GT-I9100-MULTI-CSC-OXALQ5.tar.md5
• Then finally click START!

Instructions For Rooting ICS :

• Extract the Rooted Kernel
• Open the included Odin
• Put your device into Download MODE
• Click PDA and select CF-Root-SGS2_*-v5.3-CWM5.tar
• Then finally click START!

* Varies to the Firmware you downloaded.
Instructions For Changing CSC:

• Download Samsung Galaxy S / S2 CSC app from the Play Store
• Open Samsung Galaxy S / S2 CSC app
• Tap "Change CSC" button
• Select the CSC for you Country
• Tap "Install" button (Keep in mind changing CSC wipes your device)

How to flash.
- Open ODIN.
- Select CODE and choose the firmware file.
- Ignore SS_DL.dll
- Put phone in download mode. (HOME - VOLUMN DOWN - LOCK)
- Connect phone with cable. Push start (Wait till phone reboot on Android start screen!)
