Jelly Bean Boot animation(updates):
For those wondering how to change the boot animation zip, you'll need a root explorer and you need to move the file over to /system/media.
nexus7.zip
Rename nexus7.zip to bootanimation.zip
Copy "bootanimation.zip" to /system/media
bootanimation.zip

hello guys. So i got new Google widget work on ics  I thinks it will works on any devices with ICS rom.

 --- Installation guide:
1. Push the .apk to system/app
2. Fix permissions (rw-r--r--)

  Requirements

• A Rooted device running ICS AOSP Rom
• Hands

Procedure

• Open Root Explorer & navigate to /system
• Now Open build.prop in Text Editor.
• Edit ro.build.version.sdk = 16 & save.
• Now go to /system/app & Rename GoogleQuickSearchBox.apk to GoogleQuickSearchBox.apk1
• Now reboot & install the app from the download link.
• Now edit build.prop & change ro.build.version.sdk = 15 & reboot.

Other way, Just replaced the Original one and it worked perfect first go No APK file removed or anything.

1, Rename the APK to GoogleQuickSearchBox.apk
2, Go to System/App and rename the original GoogleQuickSearchBox.apk to
3, something else (Or delete it)
4, Copy in the GoogleQuickSearchBox.apk the one you renamed from (Velvet-theos0o.apk)
5, Set the permissions, to the /System/App/GoogleQuickSearchBox.apk to RW-R--R--
6, Reboot and it should work

Only for The Google Now for ICS Project users!
Simple addition for those who use Google Now on Android 4.0 and want to take advantage of voice recognition. It won't work correctly on older versions of Google Voice Search, and it will not bring Google Now itself to your phone.
You can immediately start the voice recognition (without pressing the button) by holding down Search button for a while. Launcher shortcut is also available.
