[MOD][ICS][24'Mar] - 34 x Battery Mods * CM9/LPQ

Hey guys,

Below are some Battery Mods I "compiled" to use with Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0.3 for both CyanogenMod and Samsung type ROMs

I take no credit what so ever for designing the batteries however, I will pin a medal on my chest for the many hours I've spent perfecting them and then converting them into flashable ZIPs.
They were designed by their respective authors shown below. (so please show them THANKS in their original thread(s))
I have taken the files from this source by mrvirginia and simply made them compatible with ICS for our SGS2.

Compatible with: Official CM9 (Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0.3) - Build: ALL BUILDS from 01112012 up to 20120322
Compatible with: Stock Samsung Deodexed ROMs (Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0.3) - Build: XXLP2, XXLP6, XXLPB, XXLPH and XXLPQ

I have used a new method to flash these MOD's by using Universal Flashing Tool created by JRsoft & Intronauta. UFT is based on VRTheme but has a few more features. The great thing that I liked about UFT is it creates a flashable backup of the APK before changing anything in it. This gives you the choice to roll back if the mod doesn't work (but I'm certain they will) or reinstall stock battery should you just want to. Again, it's a flashable zip located on your SD so all you have to do is, flash it just like you're installing one of my MOD's

The usual disclaimer: I accept no responsibility if your phone blows up or it screws with your system giving you a boot loop or something. I can't reproduce every single users installation type. In saying that, I'm pretty certain they all should install ok on your device.

INSTRUCTIONS: (for "experienced users")

1. Download your file/mod of choice.
2. Copy this *.zip to your SD card. (As we can't do this via USB as yet, I recommend using ES File Explorer on the market and copy them across your WiFi network. Of course, this only applies if you're not downloading with your SGS2)
3. Flash *.zip in Recovery.

INSTRUCTIONS: (for "noobs")*

1. Download your file/mod of choice. (I recommend downloading the "Stock" version for your ROM at the bottom of Post#1 as well and flash this first to ensure there are no problems)
2. Copy this *.zip to your SD card. (As we can't do this via USB as yet, I recommend using ES File Explorer on the market and copy them across your WiFi network. Of course, this only applies if you're not downloading with your SGS2)
3. Reboot into Recovery by holding down your POWER key, select "Reboot" from the menu, select "Recovery" and then select "OK")
4. Once in Recovery, use the VOLUME up/down keys on the side of your phone to navigate in Recovery and highlight "install zip from sdcard" and press the POWER key to enter into that menu.
5. Navigate and highlight, "choose zip from sdcard" (If you downloaded the *.zip file(s) on your SGS2) and then press your POWER key.
6. Navigate and highlight, "download" (Again, If you downloaded the *.zip file(s) on your SGS2 otherwise navigate to where you put the *.zip file) and then press your POWER key.
7. Navigate and highlight, "[File_you_downloaded].zip" and then press your POWER key.
8. Navigate and highlight, "Yes - Install [File_you_downloaded].zip" and then press your POWER key.
9. Read the text that will scroll up in Recovery. If all goes well, the bottom line of text should read "Install from sdcard complete."
10. Press the BACK softkey. (Or navigate and highlight "+++++Go Back+++++" and then press your POWER key.)
11. "reboot system now" should be already highlighted.. press your POWER key to reboot your SGS2.
12. Enjoy your new Battery Mod.

* I expect if you're game enough to try an ALPHA release of CM9 you would fit into the experienced user category however, just in case.. I added the "noob" version to install these MODs as well.

INSTRUCTIONS: To RESTORE the backup.

As I mentioned, UFT creates a flashable ZIP file located on your SDcard. Each ZIP is timestamped with the date and time in GMT/UTC. All you have to do, is follow the same steps above. The files are located in \SDCard\UniversalFlasher\
